Cedar Wood Range

Our premium timber range is fashioned in an attractive Western Cedar wood. Selected for its beauty, durability and design flexibility, the quality of this particular wooden shutter is unparalleled.

Characterised by its exquisite straight grain, these plantation shutters are most commonly used in a variety of stained options, however, they are as effective when used in a natural colour.

Available finishes: Natural and Medium shades are available in an impressive oiled finish. All other colour options are produced in tinted UV resistant lacquers. Solid options available. Louvre options: 32mm (1"), 47mm (2"), 63mm(2.5"), 89mm(3,5mm)

Poplar Wood Range

Chosen for it's versatility and strength, our Poplar range is an economically priced, high quality wood product. Produced in Poplar wood, the core of this shutter is engineered to enhance it's durability. Since we recommend the use of wooden shutters on oversized windows, this range is ideal for installation in openings unsuited to our heavier MDF option.

All shutters are available in shades of whites and cream only and come with a subtle wood grain - visible on it's louvres.

Available finishes: Matt, Satin or Gloss sheens. Some solid options are available. Louvre options: 47mm (2"), 63mm(2.5"), 89mm(3,5mm)

MDF Range

The cost effective MDF range is defined by it's clean appearance, which finishes beautifully and consistently. This shutter is an engineered wood product which is robust and extremely attractive in appearance.

Available in three white shades. Louvre options: 114mm, 89mm, 64mm Significant number of frame options Please be aware of the heavy nature of MDF. We advise against the use of this on larger window recesses.

Custom made to your exacting requirements. Our interior shutters are individually made to fit any window, door or partition opening. All products sold by Superior Shutters are guaranteed against warping and defects of workmanship for a minimum of 12 months.
