Measuring Guide

How you take your measurements will vary depending upon where you would like to fit the blind within the window opening.

If possible you should always use a steel tape and state all sizes to the nearest millimeter to ensure accuracy.

Inside the window opening

Width
- Measure the inside width of the window at the top middle and bottom. Use the narrowest width measurement.

Height - Measure the height of the window at the left, centre and right. Use the SHORTEST height measurement.

NOTE : Watch out for obstructing HANDLES!!!

Exact Blind Size

Outside the window opening, overlapping the window recess.

Width
- To minimize light leakage it's recommended that the blind overlaps the window opening on the width by least 40mm each side.

Height - When measuring the height take into account the required space for the mounting bracket. A flat surface of a minimum 70mm above is required. The overlap at the bottom of the blind is a matter of personal choice but please take into account obstacles such as radiators.

Important! - Because our Luxury ranges are custom made to your exact requirements. Once made, our products are suitable only to you, and therefore cannot be resold. As a result it is extremely important that you are sure about the product you want and also the size you require. We strongly recommend that you double check any measurements and if you are in any doubt please contact our customer services helpline on 0870 787 0391.
